Lots of games were played in the upper half of the leagues last months and some were very close!

Congratulations to Colin Prangle and Charlie Galton who have won the free courts after being picked from a long list of players to play all their games. Please ask at the Olympiad reception for your vouchers.

A couple of reminders:

• The courts are closed all day Tuesday 9th for refurbishment.

• You can now book courts online. Go to the Chippenham squash website for a link straight to the booking page.

Good luck this month.

Online booking now available at the Olympiad!!!

Hi everyone,

I have some great news! The Olympiad have implemented an online booking system so courts can be booked without having to ring the centre!

If you’re an existing member, you’ll need to go through the registration process in order to get the courts at the discounted rate.

I’ve given the system a quick test and it seems to work very well.

I’ve added a link to the booking page to the Chippenham Squash website.

Update 01/04/08
Dear Olympiad Squash players,

You will notice that the boxes have now taken on a slightly new format in that there are now only 5 players per box. We have had a number of new players join this month which is fantastic, though it has meant that I have had to do some major shuffling across the leagues to accommodate the new players. I hope this doesn’t affect/disappoint anyone too much. The very nature of the box system means that the ability levels will be balanced out over the next couple of months.

Please be aware that the boxes are now nothing to do with the staff at the Olympiad. If you spot any problems, please contact me directly.

I am going to try and mirror the results every month on our website. Please email me if you can with the results of your games throughout the month and I’ll update the site.

If you would like to add an email address to your contact details please email me. It would be really useful if I could display player contact details on the site though I need your permission to do this. Please let me know if you are happy to have your details displayed on the site (or not).

Finally, if you know anyone who may like to get involved please encourage them to join. Squash in Chippenham should be really vibrant as there are a huge number of players of all abilities. It would be great if they were all playing one another……

Regards,

Andy Frances
